As Valentine’s day inches closer, it was only fitting that sweathearts got a head start on the some of the most tasteful chocolates from all over the globe at the recent Chocolate World Expo held at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Grubpassport.com was at the scene to cover over 35 local vendors display chocolates and other mouthwatering baked goods including international themed offerings such as the tasty French crepes from Bonjour Creperia/Gelateria with the unforgettable tagline-“Eat like a French Model” and the tantalizing Dutch Desert’s exquisite tarts that made us want to travel to Amsterdam on the next available flight.

Whether tasting chocolate dipped strawberries, rice crispy treats or watching celebrity chef demonstrations from chef Barret Beyer from Season 11 of “Hell’s Kitchen”, there was something for every food and chocolate lover.  We look forward to covering this event yearly as it was a great success.
